Michael Medoro is the Chief of Staff for the national nonprofit organization – Childhelp. Mr. Medoro has served within the nonprofit space in numerous positions throughout his career including as a Director of a children’s home in Guatemala; the Chief Operating Officer for the organization, Easter Seals; and the Executive Director for the international nonprofit organization, Project C.U.R.E.

In his tenure at Childhelp, Mr. Medoro helped to construct the prevention education curriculum, Childhelp Speak Up Be Safe. Recently achieving publication as an evidence based curriculum, Childhelp Speak Up Be Safe is an ecological curriculum designed to educate students pre-K through 12th grade on the signs and symptoms of child abuse, and what to do if they witness or experience abuse. This curriculum is taught online, through a learning management system incorporating a train-the-trainer model of dissemination. Currently implemented in schools and advocacy centers throughout the United States, Childhelp Speak Up Be Safe was recently adopted by the US Department of Defense, and is being taught on US military bases in 8 different countries around the world.

Mr. Medoro is committed to helping advance the learning and growth opportunities for children. Recently appointed to the National Coalition of Foster Care, Mr. Medoro is working toward helping to improve and enhance wrap around services, trainings, as well as academic and vocational learning for adults and children. His pursuit in the Digital Education space is focused on improving teaching, learning, and collaborating in this space with digital tools.
